Sigvaris are a family company started as a Haberdashery called Ganzoni over 150 years ago.
In 1958 they produced the first modern medical compression stocking for Dr Sigg, who was studying Varices (Varicose Veins) - hence the name: SIGVARIS Sigvaris hosiery is designed to facilitate the blood flow in your veins by exerting an external Graduated Compression. Graduated Compression gives you maximum pressure at the ankle, reducing as you go up the leg. There are different levels of compression available according to medical need.
